मैंने आज दिल्ली के कई वकीलों से जस्टिस यशवंत वर्मा के बारे में बात की।

सभी ने दो बातें कही—

1. न्यायाधीश के रूप में उनकी प्रतिष्ठा बेहतरीन थी। वे धैर्यवान, निष्पक्ष और कानून के गहरे जानकार थे। उनके कार्यकाल के दौरान उनकी ईमानदारी पर कभी कोई सवाल नहीं उठा।
2. यह घटना साफ तौर पर एक साजिश लगती है। अगर कोई उन्हें बड़ी रिश्वत देना चाहता, तो क्या वह इसे इतनी भौंडी तरीके से बोरे में नकदी भरकर देता, जिसे आसानी से पकड़ा जा सकता था? ऐसा प्रतीत होता है कि यह पैसा फंसाने के इरादे से रखा गया, और इसमें उनके स्टाफ के किसी व्यक्ति की मिलीभगत हो सकती है।

इस षड्यंत्र के पीछे के उद्देश्यों को लेकर अलग-अलग कयास लगाए जा रहे हैं।

आदरणीय सर जी मैं भी इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट का एडवोकेट होकर माननीय न्यायमूर्ति श्री यशवंत वर्मा जी को बहुत अच्छी तरीके से जानता हूं वह बहुत काबिल अधिवक्ता थे बहुत ही काबिल व्यवहार कुशल न्यायाधीश भी थे हमेशा चीफ जस्टिस के साथ जूनियर जज होकर के बैठा करते थे उनके ऊपर लगे हुए सारे आरोप मिथ्या और मनगढ़ंत है , एक दिन दूध का दूध और पानी का पानी हो जाएगा।

Disturbing news about Justice Yashwant Varma. His reputation as a judge has always been impeccable, known for his patience, impartiality, and deep understanding of the law. These allegations are indeed shocking and raise serious questions. The manner in which the bribe was allegedly offered—using sacks of cash—does seem crude and suspicious. It’s hard to believe that someone of his standing would engage in such a blatant act. The possibility of a setup, perhaps involving someone close to him, cannot be ruled out. Various theories about motives are circulating, but without a thorough investigation, it’s difficult to ascertain the truth. Let’s hope the matter is investigated fairly and transparently to uncover the facts. Justice must prevail, both for him and for the integrity of the judiciary

Milord, good track record and honesty is a problem with Modi government. If Justice Verma would have followed the foot steps of Ranjan Gogoi, Bobde, Chandrachud, he would have been elevated to SC.

काटजू साहब बहुत सम्मानित व्यक्ति है। हम सब इनके फैन और प्रशंसक रहे है। इनके विचार गरीबों और आम आदमी को मजबूत करते है। इस बार इनके सारे तर्क विचार गम्भीर भ्रष्टाचार में गले तक फंसे एक इलाहाबादी जज के पक्ष में जनता के बीच समर्थन जुटाने में लग गए हैं। उसकी तारीफ करने वाले वकीलों को खोज खोज कर मिल रहे हैं।

The Judges have security how did this money get in is a million dollar question. If Delhi Police questions the Security guards the truth will be out .Who got these sacks in dear.

It is not easy to enter any high court judge house.two types of security forces work in residence 1st R.A.C. Rajasthan armed core or crpf on gate and delhi police pso deployed for 24 hours .so I think it was not easy to plant such type of huge amount.

सर, इन जज साहब को लोया बनाने की जगह यह बनाया गया है, मुझे भी ऐसा लगता है।

श्याम कृष्णा-
The most accurate opinion about a judge is that of the lawyers who argue in that court and those who practice there. They know which judge is strict, lenient, honest or biased. I have argued my cases before Justice Verma many times, my opinion about him is that “he was a judge with a very honest, decent, gentle, firm and unbiased image. When he was transferred from Allahabad High Court to Delhi High Court, everyone said that the transfer of an honest and good judge was sad. Later it was revealed that he himself wanted the transfer due to his health reasons. This entire incident is disturbing.”

सुरेश वर्मा-
One bundle or one sack of notes was sufficient to fix a judge and to create a set up for a drama to malign the reputation. Then why number of sacks of notes and fire incident in the same room only? Where is the waste removed from that particular room consisting of burnt or unburnt notes to establish the notes were fake or genuine? If the setup was fixed, to malign – someone powerful in the government or of the corporate world can do it on such a large scale.

सुधा शिनॉय-
The way these courts and judiciary functions these days, its very obvious that judges have become puppets in the hands of those with power, money and influence.
I have experienced in the last one decade how the system is rotting and degrading in student related cases too where there is either taarikh pe taarikh or the case gets infructious. Common man anyways has no hope left from judiciary where the courts remain open for terrorist and politicians even at midnight or holidays, but rest of the cases lingers on for ages. The stack of cash at a Judges residence speaks volumes about how lawyers have become middleman for these judges. When a Collector and Registrars office dont move files without their share of moolah, its natural to understand the entire tree and its fruits are venomous.

विवेक तालुकदार-
Many judges are corrupt and high on power. Arrogance personified. Misuse government facilities. What ex CJ of SC Chandrachur did during his last months. Unnecessarily shifted Dr Abhaya Murder case of Bengal from Kolkata High Court to Supreme Court to elongate the judgement and harassment to the poor parents of the slain victim. He has earned hatred.from respect of the common people of West Bengal during the last days of retirement.

रामजी सक्सेना-
In one of my post on Facebook I pointed out the sudden transfer of the Chief Justice of Bombay to Delhi H. C. There were no complaints against him. Soon after his joining at Delhi the most shocking and talked incident of Justice Yashwant has taken place. This aspect of sudden transfer and recovery may have some link with the conspiracy and needs to be investigated. I request Justice Katju to examine this aspect and enlighten the public.

सोनू सिंह-
Common man are not fool. All of us know that best way to took bribe is taking hard cash. And all officers/judges / thieves are honest, untill caught .

Although, we know that judges of supreme court have great powers, and with great powers come great money. Amount of 15-20 crore found is definitely very low amount. It should be atleast 100 crore for a judge of supreme court.

अहसान हारून-
That’s why he was let without seizure of cash in it’s compound without “Panchnama” …if he is very honest Markandey Katju then why he not called police on 112 and investigate on his own ….despite staff clear the evidence from the compound store room…after all he is second most senior judge of Delhi high court.

I’m a bit surprised to see the lengths you are going to defend one of your own.

In case of a crime, if character was considered then all of the murder accused should be released who have good reputation and who can get some people to testify how socially active and helpful they are and thus they cannot commit murder.

It seems you are ignoring one of the most basic principle of law despite being a learned former judge.
