उत्तर प्रदेश में मान्यता प्राप्त संवाददाता समिति का नया चुनाव नहीं होने को लेकर मुदित माथुर ने आवाज उठाई. हेमंत तिवारी और सिद्धार्थ कलहंस पर आरोप लगाया कि ये लोग नया चुनाव कराने से भाग रहे हैं और इनकी कमेटी पूरी तरह असंवैधानिक हो चुकी है, फिर भी ये लोग लगातार पदाधिकारी बने हुए हैं. वरिष्ठ पत्रकार मुदित माथुर ने एक ग्रुप मेल भेजकर जब आवाज उठाई तो टाइम्स नाऊ, यूपी के पत्रकार प्रांशु मिश्रा ने मुदित का समर्थन किया और उनकी बात को मजबूती प्रदान की. पढ़िए, प्रांशु ने क्या लिखा है…

Dear Mudit ji,

Thx for bringing the facts out and nailing the canards being spread about the tenure of the “UP STATE accreditation correspondents committee”. Though on personal level many in our community knew what the truth was..your interference holds importance because its a voice from within the present committee, which is now clearly unconstitutional..because its tenure of 2 YEARS HAS EXPIRED.

I will appeal to all the office bearers to announce the new schedule for elections to the committee at the earliest. Senior members of the committee should stop shielding and continue being-in office in name of entirely fabricated false claims about extended tenure of the committee. And in case some of the much “:socially visible”: office bearers of the committee continue to do, others should themselves resign from the committee which is now clearly unconstitutional by having outlived the tenure of 2 years.

I think there’s still much scope of a respectable move coming in from within the committee itself.  Any further delay would only raise questions and possibly agitation
