भारत की ज्ञान परंपरा पर केंद्रित है विश्वविद्यालय का कैलेंडर
भोपाल, 11 फरवरी। राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के सरसंघचालक डॉ. मोहन भागवत ने माखनलाल चतुर्वेदी राष्ट्रीय पत्रकारिता एवं संचार विश्वविद्यालय के कैलेंडर का विमोचन किया। इस अवसर पर कुलपति प्रो. बृज किशोर कुठियाला भी उपस्थित थे। सरसंघचालक डॉ. भागवत ने कैलेंडर के विषय और उसके आकल्पन की सराहना की है। विश्वविद्यालय का वर्ष 2017 का कैलेंडर भारत की ज्ञान परंपरा पर केन्द्रित है।
12 पृष्ठीय कैलेंडर में पृथक-पृथक पृष्ठों पर चार वेदों ऋग्वेद, यजुर्वेद, अथर्वेद एवं सामवेद की व्याख्या के साथ उपनिषद्, रामायण, महाभारत और गीता को रेखांकित किया गया है। इसके साथ ही प्राचीन भारत के शिक्षा के चार केंद्र नालंदा, तक्षशिला, विक्रमशिला एवं सांदीपनी आश्रम का उल्लेख हैं। कैलेंडर में भारतीय तिथियों को भी दर्शाया गया है। महत्वपूर्ण तीज-त्यौहारों के साथ शासकीय अवकाश की भी जानकारी कैलेंडर में शामिल की गयी है। विगत वर्ष (2016) का कैलेंडर सिंहस्थ पर केन्द्रित था, जिसमें कुम्भ की संचार परंपरा को वर्णित किया गया था।

Varsity calendar has theme on knowledge traditions of India
Bhopal: February 11. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak, Dr Mohan Bhagwat today released calendar of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication (MCNUJC). University Vice-Chancellor Prof Brij Kishore Kuthiala was present on the occasion. Sarsanghchalak Dr Bhagwat appreciated theme and design of the calendar. University calendar of the year 2017 reflects theme on knowledge traditions of India.
In 12 pages, four Vedas – the Rigveda, the Yajurveda, the Atharveda and the Samveda, and the Upnishad, the Ramayan, the Mahabharat and the Geeta have been highlighted. Four educational centres of ancient India – Nalanda, Takshashila, Vikramshila and Sandipani Ashram – have been mentioned. Dates as per Indian traditional system, festivals and government holidays have also been mentioned. Last year calendar (2016) had theme on Simhastha and communication traditions of Kumbha was illustrated.
