जिस आईआरएस अफसर एसके श्रीवास्तव ने एनडीटीवी की चोरी, मनी लांड्रिंग समेत कई वित्तीय अनियमितताओं को पकड़ा था, उसे पागल घोषित कराने से लेकर बदनाम करने और प्रताड़ित करने तक का काम करने वाले पत्रकार अभिसार शर्मा, उनकी आईआरएस पत्नी सुमाना सेन व एक अन्य महिला आईआरएस अधिकारी अशीमा नेब के बुरे दिन आने लगे हैं. सीबीआई की प्राथमिक जांच में यह पता चला है कि अभिसार शर्मा की पत्नी सुमाना सेन ने अपने पद का दुरुपयोग किया. अभिसार और सुमाना दोनों के पास बिना हिसाब किताब की करोड़ों की संपत्ति है. इसमें एक अन्य महिला आईआरएस अधिकारी अशीमा नेब भी बराबर की भागीदार रहीं.
एनडीटीवी टैक्स एसेसमेंट के संबंध में सीबीआई का इनकम टैक्स डिपार्टमेंट को लिखा पत्र ये है…
इनकम टैक्स डिपार्टमेंट की तरफ से सीबीआई को जो लैटेस्ट जानकारी दी गई है, उसमें बताया गया है कि सुमाना सेन के पास कुल अन-एकाउंटेड यानि जिसका कोई हिसाब नहीं है, संपत्ति 7 करोड़ रुपये है. अभिसार शर्मा के पास बिना हिसाब किताब वाली कुल संपत्ति 4.08 करोड़ रुपये हैं. इसी तरह महिला आईआरएस अधिकारी अशीमा नेब के पास बिना हिसाब किताब वाली कुल संपत्ति 2.93 करोड़ रुपये है. सीबीआई की जांच जारी है और इनकम टैक्स डिपार्टमेंट इसमें सहयोग कर रहा है.
ज्ञात हो कि एनडीटीवी का आफिस जिस इनकम टैक्स सर्किल में आता है, उसकी अधिकारी रही हैं सुमाना सेन. आरोप है कि सुमाना ने एनडीटीवी के इनकम टैक्स के मालमों में जमकर मैनुपुलेशन किया. इस महिला आईआरएस अधिकारी के पति अभिसार शर्मा एनडीटीवी में बड़े पद पर हुआ करते थे. इस तरह कहा जा सकता है कि पति-पत्नी ने अपने अपने तरीके से नियम-कानून ताक पर रखकर एनडीटीवी को जमकर लाभ पहुंचाया और बदले में खुद भी जमकर उपकृत हुए. जिस आईआरएस अधिकारी एसके श्रीवास्तव ने एनडटीवी के घपले-घोटाले को पकड़ा, उन्हें ऐसा न करने के लिए तरह तरह से प्रताड़ित किया गया. यहां तक कि उन पर छेड़छाड़ का आरोप महिला आईआरएस अधिकारियों ने लगा दिया. पूरे मामले में pgurus.com नामक वेबसाइट ने एक लंबी-चौड़ी खबर प्रकाशित की है, जिसे यहां साभार दिया जा रहा है.

CBI probes IRS officers connected with NDTV tax assessments
Central Bureau of Investigation’s (CBI) preliminary investigation with the support of Income Tax department has unearthed illegalities and violations committed by two lady Income Tax officers, by helping New Delhi Television Ltd. (NDTV), where one of their spouse was working as a journalist. The CBI’s letter to Income Tax department shows that in August 2015, the agency had decided to register a case of preliminary enquiry against Shumana Sen (also spelt as Sumana Sen) for manipulations in NDTV’s income tax related matters. She is an IRS officer and was the Assessing Officer of the Income Tax circle of NDTV.
Her husband Abhisar Sharma was working with NDTV as a journalist cum anchor at an exorbitant salary. CBI also sent reminders to Income Tax department in March 2016 seeking some more documents in this case. Both communications are published at the end of this report.
CBI is also probing into the role of another lady Income Tax official Ashima Neb for NDTV account manipulations. According to the latest information sent by Income Tax to CBI, Shumana Sen is having a gross unaccounted income of Rs.7 crores ($1.046 million), and husband journalist Abhisar Sharma is having a gross unaccounted income of Rs.4.08 crores ($610,000). The IRS officer Ashima Neb’s gross unaccounted income comes to Rs.2.93 crores ($438,000).
CBI is expected to register a First Information Report (FIR) soon in this case against the two lady officers and also against NDTV under Prevention of Corruption Act and misuse of official position. This case was first exposed by senior Income Tax officer S K Srivastava and he was arm-twisted by the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) regime. Srivastava was hounded and several false cases were foisted on him. He was taken back into service by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) regime.
