लखनऊ : इलाहाबाद कचहरी गोलीकांड पर आईपीएस अफसर अमिताभ ठाकुर और सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता नूतन ठाकुर ने डीजीपी को वीडियो समेत पूरा सौंपा है। घटनाक्रम की छानबीन के बाद उन्होंने बताया है कि वारदात के दौरान दारोगा शैलेन्द्र सिंह को आत्मरक्षा के लिए गोली चलानी पड़ी थी वरना उस दिन कचहरी परिसर में ही उनकी हत्या कर दी जाती। उन्होंने बताया कि चौकी नारीबारी, थाना शंकरगढ़ तथा अन्य स्थानों पर दारोगा के बारे में उन्होंने अपने स्तर से छानबीन की। उन्हें लगभग सभी पुलिसवालों ने बताया कि मौके पर ऐसे हालात बन गए थे कि दारोगा के पास आत्मरक्षा के लिए गोली चलाने के अलावा अन्य कोई विकल्प नहीं बचा था, वरना उन्हें मार डाला जाता।
अमिताभ ठाकुर और नूतन ठाकुर को दारोगा की चौकी के कुछ लोगों ने बताया कि वे घटना के बाद चौकी आये थे, जहां उन्होंने कहा था कि मान-सम्मान से बड़ा कुछ नहीं है। कचहरी में उन्हें मारा-पीटा गया, जिससे बाध्य हो कर उन्हें गोली चलानी पड़ी। अमिताभ ठाकुर और नूतन ठाकुर ने दारोगा के भागे हुए होने के कारण अपना दायित्व पूरा करने के लिए घटनाक्रम के सम्बन्ध में प्राप्त एक वीडियो सहित सभी तथ्यों को डीजीपी को सौंप दिया है।
