Doordarshan organises a professional HD make up workshop for its make up artists from across the country. Twenty five make-up artists from the regional kendras of Doordarshan would participate in the five day residential training from 24th April to 28th April 2017, to learn the advanced techniques in professional makeup.
National Academy of Broadcasting & Multimedia (NABM), Delhi the apex training institute of Prasar Bharati has taken up the responsibility to train the staff of Doordarshan on the specific discipline. At the first instance the make up artists of Doordarshan have been invited to attend the five day workshop in HD make up technique which is commencing from 24th April,2017 to 28th April, 17 from 10 A.M. onwards at Doordarshan Bhawan, Copernicus Marg, New Delhi.
Lakme Academy Ltd, will conduct the workshop and train DD Make-up artists with industry based professional skills by utilising world class cosmetic products and techniques. The topics covered in this workshop will be on High-Definition make-up, Media makeup, Portfolio makeup, sculpting, corrective makeup Hygiene & Makeup Sanity, Personal Grooming, Skin Tone, Color Theory, Color applications, Facial anatomy, effect of lightening etc.
This step is intended to enhance the professional skills of Doordarshan make up artists. Doordarshan has been taking several initiatives to improve quality of production, likewise one of the regional Kendras workshop was held in New Delhi, other was held at Pondicherry and shortly a workshop will be scheduled in North East.
