यादव सिंह केस : सरकार की कत्तई सीबीआई जांच की मंशा नहीं

लखनऊ : यादव सिंह मामले में इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट में पीआईएल करने वाली सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता डॉ नूतन ठाकुर को अज्ञात सूत्रों से भेजे गए अभिलेखों से यह पूरी तरह स्पष्ट हो गया है कि उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार मामले में किसी भी कीमत पर सीबीआई जांच नहीं चाहती है.

 

सुप्रीम कोर्ट के आदेश पर काले धन पर बने एसआईटी के सदस्य सचिव उदय सिंह कुमावत ने 11 फ़रवरी 2015 को राज्य सरकार को पत्र लिख कर तब तक किये गए सभी प्रशासनिक और सिविल तथा आपराधिक न्यायिक कार्यवाही का ब्यौरा माँगा था ताकि सीबीआई जांच पर निर्णय लिया जा सके.

यूपी के मुख्य सचिव आलोक रंजन ने 13 फ़रवरी को कुमावत को कहा था कि चूँकि प्रकरण हाई कोर्ट में विचाराधीन है, अतः अभी सामानांतर प्रक्रिया उचित नहीं होगी. एसआईटी ने यूपी सरकार की दलील को नामंजूर करते हुए 24 फ़रवरी को उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार से यादव सिंह मामले के सभी अभिलेख सीबीआई को देने के निर्देश दिए थे लेकिन उसने 16 मार्च की सुनवाई में कहा गया कि वे शीघ्र इस पत्र के सम्बन्ध में केंद्र सरकार से पत्राचार करेंगे. डॉ ठाकुर इन समस्त पत्राचार को 20 अप्रैल की अगली सुनवाई में कोर्ट के समक्ष रखेंगी.

Documents: UP Govt opposes CBI inv in Yadav Singh case at all cost

The various documents sent by anonymous sources to social activist Dr Nutan Thakur, who has file the PIL in Allahabad High Court in Yadav Singh scam, prove it beyond all doubt that State government does not want CBI enquiry at any cost.

The documents show that Udai Singh Kumawat, Member Secretary, Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Black money, formed on Supreme Court directions, sent a letter dated 11 February 2015 to the State government, directing it to present the details of actions taken in this case so far, both administratively and in Courts- civil and criminal, so as to decide about CBI investigation

To this Chief Secretary UP Alok Ranjan intimated Sri Kumawat on 13 February that since the matter is under consideration before the Allahabad High Court, hence any parallel proceeding may not be appropriate.

SIT refused the UP government argument and directed it through letter dated 24 February 2015 to provide all the documents related with Yadav Singh case to CBI, but the State government again told the High Court on 16 March that it shall soon be responding to this letter.

Dr Thakur shall be putting these letters before High Court on next date of hearing on 20 April.
