Prabhat Dhyani : मुख्यमंत्री हरीश रावत वादा निभाओ वादा निभाओ… झूठी घोषणायें करना बन्द करो। आमरण अनशन एवं जल त्याग कर अनशन में बैठे मातृसदन हरिद्वार के स्वामी शिवानन्द जी तथा हिमालय बचाओ आन्दोलन के नेता समीर रतूड़ी जी का जीवन खतरे में। मलेथा में सरकार द्वारा नियम कानूनों को ताक पर लगाये जा रहे स्टोन क्रसर के खिलाफ किये गये आन्दोलन के दौरान ग्रामीणों तथा समीर रतूणी पर लगाये गये मुकदमों को वापिस लेने की मांग को लेकर हिमालय बचाओ आन्दोलन के नेता समीर रतूड़ी का टिहरी जेल के अन्दर आमरण अनशन 22 फरवरी से जारी है उनके स्वास्थ्य में लगातार गिरावट आ रही है वहीं मातृसदन हरिद्वार के स्वामी शिवानन्द जी ने भी गंगा नदी में अवैध खनन के विरोध में अन्न जल त्याग दिया है उनका आरोप है कि मुख्यमंत्री हरीश रावत जी ने उनकी मांगे मान लिये जाने की सार्वजनिक घोषणा के वावजूद इस सम्बन्ध में कोई कार्यवाही नहीं की है।
Neha Sweetu : भारत के नागरिकों का पेट शायद भाषण से ही भरता है या फिर हमारे कान के पर्दे पर आवाज तभी टकराती जब वो माइक पर चिल्लाकर कही गयी हो। तभी हम ‘हिमालय बचाओ आंदोलन’ पर मलेथा गाँव में 15 दिन से भूख हड़ताल पर रहने वाले समीर रतुड़ी की आवाज नहीं सुन पा रहे या सुन कर अनसुना कर रहे हैं। सुना है कि जब पैसे वालों को जेल होती है तो पता नहीं किस तरकीब से दूसरे ही दिन अस्पताल पहुँच जाते हैं लेकिन यहाँ इस इंसान को अस्पताल से जेल ले जाया जा रहा है इस अवस्था में जबकि वो चलने की स्थिति में भी नहीं है। क्यों? क्योंकि वो सरकार और खनन माफिया के खिलाफ महिलाओं द्वारा खोले गए मोर्चे का नेतृत्व कर रहे हैं? आगे आईए कि अगला नंबर हमारा हो सकता है। हमें हाथ बढ़ाना है वरना अभी नहीं तो फिर कभी नहीं रोक पाएँगे इन्हें। #istandwithsameer
Sunil Negi : Samir’s hunger strike crosses 14th day at Tehri Jail/Attempts to malign him. Salutes to the icon of great Maletha Andolan n a source of inspiration to millions of youths of Uttarakhand whose fast unto death hunger strike has crossed fourteen days. A leader of immense grit, determination, courage n dedication to the cause, Sameer has now even given up water. He’s adamant n would not give up his hunger strike till all his genuine demands are met forthwith. Weak n frail looking Sameer is strong from inside n appeals to his fellow activists n the women of Maletha n Uttarakhand to stand firm n united for the peoples cause for which they have been struggling for the last two years. Meanwhile not finding Sameer loosing his courage n determination some disgruntled elements in the ruling establishment n the local mafias are trying to spread canard against him to demoralised the movement saying that the leader is eating food inside the jail. That’s why he is not allowing his medical to be done. This is absurd. Such futile tactics were initiated earlier also when Sameer was on 30 days hunger strike giving up water intake after 17 days. But they failed badly. Friends while strongly condemning this deliberate demoralising tactics of the local mafias n those in the government to defame Samir Raturi. The Uttarakhand Journalists Forum n Third Front of Uttarakhand heartily appeals to one and all, particularly the youth, students n women power of Uttarakhand to stand united with him m us at this critical juncture n give birth to a new chapter of peaceful democratic struggle in entire Uttarakhand. This is the need of the hour.
Pandit Madan Mohan Dhoundiyal : उत्तराखण्ड वर्तमान सत्तासीन जनप्रतिनिधियों को गंभीरता से सोचना उचित होगा कि – समीर रतूड़ी को जेल में बंद करके क्या जनबिरोधी खनन का पाप धुल जायेगा? क्या आज शिव रात्रि के दिन देवाधिदेव महादेव सत्तासीन जनप्रतिनिधियों के इस दमनात्मक रवैये से परिचित नहीं हैं ? समझदार जनप्रतिनिधि जनता के द्वारा चुने जाने का अहसास नही भूलते हैं। एक तरफ तो यह जुझारू युवा माफिया तंत्र से लड़ रहा है तो दूसरी तरफ छुटभैया नेता माफिआवों के संकेत पर अपनी रोटी सेकने की तलाश में हैं। आन्दोलन को बदनाम करने , फूट डालने या कमजोर करने की साजिश जारी है। राज्य की बिखरी हुई शक्तियों को इस समय आगे आना चाहिए जो कि साफ़ नकारात्मक दीख रहा है। थर्ड फ्रंट सदा इस प्रकार के अन्दोलनो का समर्थन करता रहा है और करता रहेगा। परिशुद्ध पर्यवारण प्रेमी मलेथा में हुए खनन की निंदा करते रहे हैं। इस स्थिति में सरकार को लोगों की जन भावनावों का सम्मान करना चाहिए और साथ में पर्यावरण जैसे मुद्दों का ध्यान रखना चाहिए। कल अन्तराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस है और इस मौके पर मलेथा की महिलावों व कुछ उनका साथ दे रहे पुरुषों के बिरुद्ध चल रहे मुकदमो को बिना शर्त वापिस ले लेने चाहिए। ऐसा करने से उत्तराखण्ड के धार्मिक विचारों वाले लोगों के घावों पर इस शिवरात्रि के अवसर पर मरहम लगेगा। अगर समीर रतूड़ी का स्वास्थ्य बिगड़ता है तो इसकी जबाबदारी सीधे प्रशासन पर जनता डालेगी। इससे अच्छा है कुछ दिमाग से काम लेना राज्य के हित में होगा।
Elke Pi : A brief report regarding the hero of Maletha Movement who is currently in jail. An activist of Save Himalaya movement, now known as Himalaya Putr. He took 30 days hunger strike, including 10 days of strike without water (6 in starting & 4 at last of 30 days strike) gave hope for all activist of Uttarakhand fighting for their right. Working for environment to rescue water, forest and land of thr villages of Uttarakhand. He started participating since 1992, then 13 years. Started by selling books of Movement for the financial support of Movement, in 23 years span he is well familiar name and a ground activist.
Along working he gains learning from renowned people such as Chipko Leader Sri Sunder Lal Bahuguna, NBA activist Medha patkar, Radha Behen, Late Vidhya sagar Nautiyal, and many others. With a span of 23 years, he participated in agitation against Tehri dam, agitation for rehabilitation of villagers, agitation against stone crusher at Maletha, against the legalization of cannabis, etc. Along with agitation he also headed two foot march organized by Save Himalaya Movement to know the real picture of the village and to study the people participation in developing model. Not only this the Save Himalaya Movement activists also tried to motivate the people to fight for their rights. In all these he sat on hunger strike 5 times, first in 2000 at Old Tehri for school students, followed by 2001, 2002 for the rehabilitator, which was again followed in 2015 In month of Jan-Feb and Jun-July. Along with hunger strike, he has been to jail in year 2000 & 2001. At present its his 6th hunger strike and today is his sixth day of hunger strike because he demand to withdraw all the cases against him and the innocent villagers.
What wrong the villagers did by protesting against the illegal stone crushers to save their village from environmental destruction. Even after the battle is women the government keeps on harassing the villagers by sending notice to them. How shameful it is that the government did not even leave 70 yrs old women and filed false charges against them. The villagers today at the press conference in press club Dehradun spoke their heart out. A great step by CFGD to make the word listen the direct voice of the villagers. They said if the government do not remove the false charges against the villagers and do not releases Sameer Raturi then they would vigor their protest.
The points missed out in the pdf of press release are: Chipko Andolan fame Sunder Lal Bahuguna ji who is also the mentor of Himalaya Bachao Andolan could not attend the CFGD program Stand up for Maletha due to his ill health. However, he gave a message in written to congratulate and encourage the protestors and youngsters fighting to protect our water, forest and land. He has requested Uttarakhand government to release Sameer Raturi and withdraw all the cases against the protestors. This will keep up the prestige of the government. If the exploitation of the natural resources of the state won’t stop Rajeev Nayan Bahuguna well known journalist and son of Sunder Lal Bahuguna said that he agrees with his father and he will follow his father’s footstep.
