We often talk of Vote-Bank politics when we discuss Indian politics. And, we journalists are always highly critical of such ways of politics. But, quite interestingly, the greatest hub of journalists where most from our fraternity feel free to sit and discuss the country’s politics, i.e. PRESS CLUB OF INDIA, has turned into an AADA of vote-bank politics…!!
The present Secretary-General Nadem Kazmi is the biggest promoter of vote-bank politics in Press Club. While genuine journalists, working in leading English, Hindi dailies/TV channels or journals, are denied membership, those so-called fake journalists who are self-appointed EDITORS of non-published newspapers/journals/magazines, with all kinds of weird names and not even registered with the RNI, are conveniently awarded Press Club of India membership just for the sake of Vote-Bank..!!
THIS YEAR, SECRETARY-GENERAL NADEEM KAZMI DIDN’T EVEN DISPLAY THE LIST OF NEW MEMBERS. THIS IS SHAMEFUL ON HIS PART AND SHOULD BE CONDEMNED BY ONE AND ALL.
According to insiders, over 200 new members have been admitted to the Press Club of India this year alone FROM THE BACK DOOR, i.e. their identity has not been disclosed to anyone. Else, objections would have been raised against such memberships and Nadeem Kazmi would not have ensured his vote-bank.
Besides, Nadeem Kazmi has always indulged in vendetta politics against his adversaries, and has gone to the extent of submitting fake and forged documents before different courts of law against those who raised their voice against his malpractices and deeds of fraud and forgery. Thus, bringing a bad name to our Press Club of India.
OCTOBER 1, 2016, IS A PERFECT OPPORTUNITY BEFORE US ALL TO THROW SUCH MISCREANTS OUT OF POWER, AND OUT OF THE CLUB TOO.
COME, VOTE FOR CHANGE THIS TIME.
