DD Bharati to live telecast the last chapter of Simhasth Kumbh Mahaparv-2016

New Delhi, 20.05.2016: The festivity around Simhasth Kumbh Mahaparv will conclude tomorrow, 21 May 2016 with Pramukh Shahi Snaan. This years’ ‘shahi snaan’ would be symbolic of ritual bathing at the banks of River Kshipra. DD Bharati will live telecast this event tomorrow, Saturday, 21 May 2016, from 4:30 am onwards till 7:30 pm (or till the end). Devotees can take holy dip at any ghat during Simhastha. The ghats include:  Ram Ghat, Triveni Ghat, Gau Ghat, Mangalnath Ghat, Sidhawat Ghat, Kabir Ghat, Rinmukteshwar Ghat, Bhukmata Ghat, Datta Akhada Ghat, Chintaman Ghat, Prashanti Dham Ghat, Sunehri Ghat, Narsingh Ghat.

It is believed that those who take royal bath in holy Shipra River on the occasion of Simhastha Kumbh Mela, wash their sins of all previous births. The devotees consider it as an opportunity to get them revived from the never ending birth cycle.
