Bhiwani, June 27, 2014: Digvijay Singh Chautala paid rich tribute to veteran journalist Davbrat Vashistha on Thursday on the first death anniversary of the late journalist and termed Vashistha as “a great thinker, writer, journalist and philanthropist”. He added “We should learn from his life and dedication”.
He said Vashistha wrote articles almost on every field of the society. His writings were clear message to the society.
Staunch RSS activist and educationist Narender Singh Rawal said when he entered Bhiwani in the year 1986 it was Vashist when he got several guidelines to establish here.
Veteran Educationist and philthropist, trustee of Kirori Mal Kalicharan Kesan said Devbrat would collect every truth before writing any article and for this he never cared to go miles away. He had a great respect about journalists and writers.
Vice-Chairman of BITS Education Society Om Prakash Behalwala demanded to put a statue and name a road in the name of late Vashist. This would his work done for the society to the people for years.
Narottam Bagri, state president, Haryana Pragati Sheel Patrakar Sangh said he worked with Vashisth and learnt a lot from his life. He appreciated that his sons were also extending his work in the field of media by running Hindi and English Dailies.
Eminent lawyer Vankatesh Acharya said Vashistha led a life of discipline and sanskar. His followings reflect in his generation who is also in the same field.
