दिव्य जोशी : Dainik Jagran and Zee News are blot to Indian media. Both these media houses have stripped themselves completely in front of Modi. The way in which they are supporting absconder Lalit Modi is utterly shameful but “shame” word no longer exist in the dictionary of one section of Indian media. One channel showing “sushma-vasundhra ne madad hi to ki h, hungama h q barpa”.
While, self proclaimed number one hindi daily dainik jagran is writing – na hi apradhi aur na hi bhagode h lalit modi (lalit is neither absconder nor accused). Both these media groups are not seeing anything wrong in the unique business model which Vashundhra’s son discovered all of a sudden( 1 lakh rs premium on 10 rs share). Media which was seeing every land deal of vadra as a big fraud, is now suddenly finding everything all right in the fraudlent transactions between Raje and Lalit Modi.
According to jagran and zee, there is no quid pro quo. Well, everyone knows that zee group chairman Subhash Chandra openly campaigned for BJP during Haryana assembly polls and Dainik’s Jagran’s founder was sangh pracharak. So, it will be stupidity on our part if we expect any neutral journalism from them but they should also remove the mask of “independent media” from their faces. Despite being a govt channel, even DD news is much neutral than zee news. Dainik Jagran is even worse than bjp’s mouthpiece.
