New Delhi, 28 December: Indian Federation of Working Journalists (IFWJ) has strongly condemned the unethical, unprofessional and slavish behaviour of Pakistani journalists, who taunted and jeered at the mother and wife of Kulbhushan Jadhav, when they were coming out from Pakistani jail after meeting him on 26th December.

In a statement the IFWJ Vice-President Hemant Tiwari and Secretary General Parmanand Pandey have said that these uncivilised journalists were obviously working at the behest of the Pakistani authorities, which became crustal clear from the tweet of a staffer of the Dawn newspaper.

They have brought utter disrepute to the profession by their abominable and reprehensible behviour. No one can even imagine that imbecile journalists would pounce upon an innocent mother and the wife of Kulbhushan Jadhav like vultures, that too, at the instance of the government, which is ill-famed for human rights violations throughout the world.

Indian Federation of Working Journalists (IFWJ) has sent its protest to the Pakistani High Commission in India asking it to communicate the strong feelings of Indian journalists at the uncouth and ugly attitude of the Pakistani journalists, which they demonstrated towards the mother and wife of Kulbhushan Jadhav.

IFWJ has also sent a letter to the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) with a request that some orientation courses must be given to Pakistani journalists, who behave like the agents of the government. Their conduct was brazen and shameless towards two distraught elderly women, who travelled thousands of miles all the way to meet their son and husband.
