Veteran Journalist Arabindo Ghose cremated, Advani paid homage

New Delhi, November 14, 2014: Veteran Journalist and founder member of National Union of Journalists India, Arabindo Ghose was cremated at Lodhi Road Cremation Ground at 4 pm today.

The former Deputy Prime Minister Shri L K Advani visited his residence at Nanakpura, New Delhi and paid homage to him. Union Finance Minister Shri Arun Jaitley telephonically paid his tribute. Many other political leaders also visited the cremation ground to pay their homage. Ex Press Advisor to former Prime Minister of India, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee was also present on behalf of Vajpayee ji.

Many senior journalists of Ghose’s colleague, former President of NUJ(I) Shri Rajendra Prabhu, Dr N K Trikha, Shri K N Gupta, national spokesperson Shri Ras Bihari, National executive member Shri Pramod Majumdar, DJA President Shri Manoj Verma , General Secretary Anil Pandey and DJA executive member Shri Hari Om etc were also present there.

Dr Trikha and Shri Prabhu shared his memories with the grieved family member and other journalists present there. A flower wreath were laid on the departed soul by NUJ(I), Rashtriya Patrakarita Nyas and Hindusthan Samachar family and prayed almighty to give his soul in the rest.
