Dear all,

This has been the year of memes and internet jokes when it comes to increments in the news media environment. Most companies have still not given out the “letters” and in the odd ones that have done so, the increments are perhaps in low single digits.

You all know that FY23 has been a tough year, marked by a very challenging business environment and disruptive events for traditional media. Despite that, you have helped Network18 ride out the tough times. The Reliance management has been kind to back our efforts with a healthy PLI payout and annual increment.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your contribution and ownership of the business. Here’s hoping that the most talented team in news media will set new benchmarks in the current financial year.
