New Delhi : Indian Federation of Working Journalists (IFWJ) condemns the decision of the Hindustan Times Management for closing down the publication centers of Bhopal, Indore, Ranchi, Kanpur, Allahabad, Varanasi and Kolkata.
IFWJ President K Vikram Rao has urged the Prime Minister Sri. Narendra Modi intervene. He has asked the IFWJ state units to lodge a formal complaint with the Chief Ministers of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and West Bengal to take note of the victimisation of journalists and non-journalist employees. It is an arbitrary closure of the six editions of the newspapers and removal of a large number of employees from many publication centers. This act is illegal and in violation of labour laws of India.
The Hindustan Times management is yet to implement the Majithia Wage Boards recommendations. The method of changing the designations and indiscriminately transferring the employees to far off places to deprive them the benefits of the Wage Boards.
The IFWJ appeals to employees of different editions that they should lodge complaints with the respective labour commissioners in their states and forward a copy to our official email [email protected].
IFWJ has formed a legal cell which is headed by IFWJ legal advisor Sri Ashwani Kumar Dubey. Sri Dubey is Advocate on Record in the Supreme Court of India, he is an expert on Labour laws, Trade Unions and Environment. He will be more than happy to advise the aggrieved employees regarding the right course of action. Bhai Dhulia sahab, aap aur aapke IFWJ itney saalon se kahan thhey..! Workers ka bhalaa ho, aapney ab tak kya kya kiye, iska byaura yadi IFWJ humlogon ko de de, to aapke sath saarey workers ka bhalaa ho jayega….! Ab jab pani naak se ooper chali gai, tab aapki neend khuli hai…! Main to kehta hoon, ki isme bhi IFWJ ka kuchh bhala hona dikh raha hoga. Aur isiliye Dalaalon ke liye ye antim “Dalaali” ki Ladai ladney ki baat chal padi hai….
Achchha hoga, aap aise hi Federation banaa kar “Malaai ka Mazaa” lete rahein. Hum workers ko apney haal par chhod dein… Jo log Supreme Court aur SC ke wakeel Collin Gonsalvez ki Sharan me chaley gaye hain, unkaa bhalaa zaroor hona hai, aur ho kar rahega.. Lekin aaplog kissi ka bhala nahin kar sakte hain, kyonki yahan bhi aap pahle ki tarah Malikon ki Dalaali karke Malaai Chaat Jayenge aur workers fir se footpath par aa jayega… Isliye aapse kerbaddh prarthana hai, ki aap hum workers ko hamaarey haal par chhod dein…..
