Subject : Non payment of due salary of eleven ex-employees of Chauthi Dunia.
Dear Sir,
This is to bring in your knowledge that the members of ‘Chauthi Dunia Karmchari Sangharsh Samiti’ have requested AITUC Delhi State Committee to intervene in the issue related to dispute between Chauthi Dunia management and ex-employees. According to the matter brought to our notice in writing that by Chauthi Dunia management has not given due salaries to ex-employees. It is stated that in the meeting held in Chauthi Dunia Editor’s office on 04/12/2018, employees were informed that management is not in position to pay salary to them for next few months and if they wish to work without receiving salary on monthly basis they can continue to their respective work. In this case management was agree to pay all dues after few months but it was difficult for the employees to survive without receiving salary every month, so they have taken decision to resign. During the month of December 2018 to January 2019 eleven employees have resigned from Chauthi Dunia newspaper. It was promised by the management through editor that all dues of employees will be cleared but even after more than six months employees have not received their hard earned due salaries.
Therefore, All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC), Delhi State Committee, requests the Printer, Publisher and Editor of Chauthi Dunia and all the Directors of the publishing company, Ankush Publication Private Limited, to release the due salaries of all eleven following ex-employees :

We hope that you will also consider this issue as exploitation and workers and violations of labour laws. You are highly requested to pay all dues of above ex-employees of Chauthi Dunia otherwise they will be compelled to move for seeking legal justice as per the provisions provided under the appropriate laws.
