Hyderabad : An emergency meeting was convened today here by the principal secretary of Labour & Employment Dr. R.V. Chandravadan, with the commissioner of labour Dr. A. Ashok and other labour department officials regarding the implementation of the Majithia Wage Board report for Journalists, on the directions of the Chief Minister of Telangana K. Chandrasekhar Rao and the Minister for Labour Nayeni Narasimha Reddy.
The Commissioner of Labour was directed to convene a meeting of all the managements and direct them to implement the Majithia wage board report. He also stated that non implementation of the report will result in contempt for not following the directions of the Supreme Court. The management should also disburse arrears.
The Principal Secretary stated that Telangana Government is committed to the welfare of journalists in Telangana and implementation of minimum wages.
A high level delegation from the Government of India is holding a meeting with the Telangana Government officials and representatives of Journalists and managements on September 9 in the D-Block of Telangana Secretariat to review the implementation of the Majithia wage report.
A representation was also handed over by the Telangana union of working journalists to the principal secretary Dr. R.V. Chandravadan, seeking implementation of the Majithia report and the enforcement of revised wages.

This is the good news announced by T S CM Mr Chandrashekhar Rao.
Implementation sholud be done in proper way, as recommended by Majithia WAge Board.
