कार्मिक एवं प्रशिक्षण विभाग (डीओपीटी), भारत सरकार द्वारा लखनऊ स्थित एक्टिविस्ट डॉ नूतन ठाकुर को दी गयी सूचना के अनुसार पिछले 10 सालों में 01 जनवरी 2008 के बाद 17 आईएएस अफसरों के खिलाफ अखिल भारतीय सेवाएँ अनुशासन एवं अपील नियमावली में विभागीय जाँच शुरू की गयी.
के श्रीनिवासन, अनुसचिव, डीओपीटी की सूचना के अनुसार इस दौरान 14 आईएएस अफसरों पर नियम 8 में वृहद् दंड की कार्यवाही शुरू की गयी. इनके नाम हैं- राजीव अग्रवाल (महाराष्ट्र कैडर, 1975 बैच), डॉ अरविन्द मायाराम (राजस्थान 1978), डी के राव (गुजरात 1980), अरिंदम सोम (असम 1990), राकेश बहादुर (यूपी 1979), आनंद मोहन शरण (हरियाणा 1990), के जयकुमार (सिक्किम 1987), डॉ रवि इन्दर सिंह (पश्चिम बंगाल 1994), के सुरेश (एमपी 1984), के एस क्रोफा (असम 1982), आर के रंगा (हरियाणा 1976), डी चक्रवर्ती (पश्चिम बंगाल 1976), गरिमा मित्तल (हरियाणा 2010) तथा ए के गोयल (आंध्र प्रदेश 1974) हैं. श्री श्रीनिवासन के अनुसार 03 आईएएस अफसरों पर नियम 10 में लघु दंड की कार्यवाही शुरू की गयी – पी वी जगनमोहन (यूपी 1987), जी के द्विवेदी (आंध्र प्रदेश) तथा सुब्रत बिश्वास (केरल 1985).
Name of 17 IAS with Dept enquiry in last 10 years
As per the RTI information provided by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Government of India to Lucknow based activist Dr Nutan Thakur, Departmental Enquiries under the All India Services Discipline and Appeal Rules were initiated against a total of 17 IAS officers during the last 10 years, since 01 January 2008.
As per information given by K Srinivasan, Under Secretary, DoPT, action for major penalty under Rule 8 of these Rules was initiated against 14 IAS officers- Rajiv Agarwal (Maharashtra Cadre 1975 batch), Dr Arvind Mayaram (Rajasthan 1978), D K Rao (Gujarat 1980), Arindam Som (Assam 1990), Rakesh Bahadur (UP 1979), Anand Moham Sharan (Haryana 1990), K Jayakumar (Sikim 1987),Dr Ravi Inder Singh (West Bengal 1994), K Suresh (MP 1984), K S Kropha (Assam 1982), R K Ranga (Haryana 1976), D Chakrovorti (West Bengal 1976), Garima Mittal (Haryana 2010) and AK Goel (AP, 1974). Similarly, as per Sri Srinivasan, action for minor penalty under Rule 10 of these Rules was initiated against 03 IAS officers P V Jaganmohan (UP 1987), G K Dwivedi (AP 1993) and Subrata Biswas (Kerala 1985).
